To bring Glory to God by touching lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the printed page and other means.

What's involved?

We're a Christian Bookstore ministry of Good Shepherd Baptist Church, helping those within our church and others from the community to source good Christian material such as Bibles, Christian Books, Music, DVD'S and Gifts.

When does this ministry operate?

• Monday - Friday (9am -5pm)
• Saturday (9am - 12:30pm)
• Sunday - (After morning & evening services)

Ways to serve:

• Opportunities to serve at the counter processing transactions.
• Opportunities to help with tidying of shelves and keeping stock organised
• Assistance with product promotions on Social Media etc.

Requirements to serve in this ministry:

• Able to relate to people and have a listening ear when needed
• A basic understanding of retail is helpful but there is opportunity to learn on the job

Important expectations of volunteers:

• Must have a love for the Lord and desire to see the lost come to Christ.
• Desire and willingness to learn.

Please pray for:

• Souls to be won for Christ through the bookstore.
• People to catch the vision of how the Bookstore touches lives with the Gospel.
• Wisdom in purchasing and marketing the material that is sold.
• People in the local community to utilise the bookstore & sales would increase.
